Why We Love Disney Weddings
When I first became a wedding photographer and videographer in Orlando, I dreamed of being able to capture Disney weddings! Disney World is a true staple in Central Florida and the lure and magic of getting married there is undeniable. When I finally got the opportunity to photograph my first Disney wedding, I was in love.
There truly is no place like it-- the service is impeccable and the experience is unlike any other. There are endless options for a Disney fairytale wedding from the outdoor areas at the resorts to the restaurants and ballrooms. Of course the infamous Disney Wedding Pavilion is one of my favorites as well! I also love shooting at Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk, the California Grill Restaurant and in Epcot! Brides and grooms can really mix and match to create the wedding of their dreams which always makes it a fun and unique experience to capture.
My past Disney weddings have by far, offered me some of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in my wedding photography career! From riding roller coasters with the newlyweds to watching the fireworks from a private balcony to photographing a first dance in Italy (Epcot that is!) the experiences at Disney World are always one of a kind.
Top Notch Service
The dedicated Disney wedding planners are amazing to work with! They keep the day running smoothly and always ensure the timeline goes according to plan– which means plenty of time for photos!
Endless & Unique Options
Your Disney wedding doesn’t have to be cheesy or cookie cutter! They offer so many different ceremony, reception and after-party options so you can make your day uniquely you.
It’s not unusual for my team and I to be at Disney at 7am on a Monday morning to capture a wedding! It’s totally normal there and the open availability means the chances we will be available to capture your wedding day are extra good!
Our Unique Approach to Disney Weddings
My couples tend to prefer a more understated Disney wedding experience. Although the "Oh no I lost my glass shoe" Cinderella pose is popular on Pinterest, our goal is to create more candid style images that look and feel incredibly magical, yet are still natural and not overly posed. This is also what sets us apart from other photographers & videographers who tend to take a more literal (and let's just say it-- somewhat cheesy!) approach to Disney weddings. Don't get me wrong I love a little cheese, but I prefer it on my nachos instead. ;)
Out-of-State & International Couples
A majority of our Disney couples are having a destination wedding and traveling into Orlando from out of state or overseas. Planning a wedding is already stressful-- but doing it from far away can be a unique challenge. That's why I offer virtual meetings on FaceTime, Skype and WhatsApp as well as flexible hours to accomodate your time zone. All of our contracts & invoicing are done electronically as well to make things super easy and convenient. Lastly we offer additional payment options for international clients to help ease the burden of poor exchange rates and keep things simple without having to charge any extra fees.
Helpful tip!In order to shoot at Disney as an outside photography or videography vendor, they do require a signed waiver as well as liability insurance! Before you hire any outside vendors, make sure they meet these requirements. (We are happy to provide both of course!)
Since we live in New York and our wedding was taking place in Orlando, Elle suggested we FaceTime each other so we can talk through things and get a feel for each other. This was unique to us and allowed us to gravitate towards her more because of the connection and her interest in making things personal. Nichole & Felix via Wedding Wire
